Hi! I'm Tamara, I'm 22 years old and I have been working as a receptionist at VESS for two years.  My favourite thing about working at VESS is rewarding kids with our famous cookies and stickers after their swim lessons and talking with parents about how their day went. I am very passionate about sports, especially soccer and have also been a swimmer all my life! I am currently in the process of receiving my coaching licence for soccer and will have my own team in the new year! My future goals are to open up my own business, be my own boss and eventually have my own little dog family on acres of land. I love spending time with my family & golden retriever, learning about cars, cooking and going to the gym. My family would describe me as passionate, energetic and adventurous!  

Hi! I'm Amanda, I'm 18 years old studying Law and Society & Business at York University. My future goal is to become a well built legal professional and business administrator. My favourite part about working at VESS is warmly welcoming every family, meeting new, amazing people and gaining valuable business communication skills; that will help open the door to  exciting opportunities in the future! But, of course the best part of all, is watching all the students leave with a huge smile on their faces!!

Hi! My name is Kathy and I have been working at Vaughan Elite Swim School for a couple years now. I have always loved swimming and working with kids, so I chose to become an instructor to be able to do the two things I love most and share my knowledge with those who need it . I am very passionate about teaching younger kids the importance of learning how to swim and water safety. I believe I have a very nurturing personality which fits best with babies and kids. My favourite thing about working at VESS is being able to work with a variety of different age groups that goes all the way up to adults! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, celebrating and exercising! My friends would best describe me as honest, friendly, and kind. 

Hi! My name is Nathan and I am currently attending Humber for Criminal Justice. My future goal is to become a homicide detective or a criminal defence attorney. Just like the kids who currently swim at VESS, I grew up doing my swim classes here as well and eventually became an instructor once I qualified! I loved the experience of being here at VESS and I always loved teaching. My favourite part about being an instructor and working at Vaughan Elite is seeing the improvements in the kids I teach. During my free time, I enjoy playing sports and playing the guitar.My friends would best describe me as honest, caring and patient. 

Hi! My name is Amanda, I am studying paramedics. I chose this program, because I want to be there and help everyone in my community! I chose to become an instructor for VESS, because swimming has been a part of my whole life; and I advocate to express this to others to ensure an important life skill all should have! This also helps build my strength in training for paramedics! Seeing the excitement everyone receives while learning these skills, makes me very proud and happy. In my free time, I love spending time with friends, family, work on cars with my dad and play musical instruments. 3 words that best describe me are; funny, honest and optimistic!

Hi! My name is Ariana and I am in my 2nd year at York University in the Commerce program. My future goal is to open my own real estate business. I am currently in works of getting my RE license and very passionate about it. I chose to become an instructor as I always loved to swim, love working with children and enjoy sharing my knowledge to teach them new things. My favourite thing about working at VESS is is seeing all the smiles from my students that I teach. During my free time, I love to read, swim and hang out with my friends. Hi! My name is Riya and I am in my last year of high school, hoping to attend Western for Law & Business. My future goal is to become a corporate lawyer. I chose to become an instructor because I love to see the smiles on everyone's faces once they accomplish something they didn't think they could do.  I believe it's one of the most rewarding jobs. My favourite part about being an instructor and working at VESS is being there for  my students and helping them, all while making the class fun and enjoyable! Hi, my name is Xavier and I am currently attending Seneca for the Environmental Landscape Management program. My future goals are to become a ministry officer. I am very passionate about music and environmentalism. I became an instructor because it was a goal of mine to help children conquer their fear of the water. My favourite thing about working at VESS is being able to help my students and have fun with them at the same time. In my free time, I like to fish and spend time with Nemo my pet gerbil. People would describe me as friendly, intuitive and passionate! 

Hi! My name is Emma, I am currently finishing off high school hoping to study criminal law and business once I graduate. My future goals are to go into criminal law, start a family and continue helping people with my knowledge. I became an instructor because when I was younger, I was part of a competitive lifeguarding club and had a very strong bond with my coaches and mentors who inspired me and pushed me to the best of my abilities, so much that I wanted to be that person for kids as well. My favourite thing about working at VESS is how comforting and family oriented our team is and being able to share my knowledge with people. I enjoy spending time with friends & family, working on cars, and watching movies/documentaries during my free time. 3 best words to describe me are funny, caring and passionate. 

Hi! My name is Luca, I am studying for a bachelor of health science. I chose this program because I want to become a health inspector, where I can design wellness programs for employees; to ensure proper safety and health at all times! I chose to become a swim instructor at VESS, because I have always been an athlete and this has helped me gain love to coach students and work one on one to optimize their swim skills! In my free time, I love to practice weight lifting, reading and play sports. 3 words to best describe me are: athletic, coach and active!
